  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup Cajun Bayou Blends Cajun Fish Fry
  • 1 lb large, peeled crawfish tails
  • oil for frying

Cajun Battered Crawfish Tails


In a bowl, beat egg well; add milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder and mix well.

In another bowl, sift flour, and Cajun Bayou Blend Cajun Fish Fry together and mix well.

Dip crawfish tails into the egg mixture one at a time, drain a little and dip into the flour mixture. Drop into hot oil at 375˚F and fry until light golden brown, drain on paper towels.
